Business
Alliance For Health is a HIPAA compliant for
profit home health care company doing business in the State of New York since
1982 and is licensed to provide nursing, home health aide, and personal care
services in Westchester and within the five (5) counties of New York City, i.e.,
Bronx, Kings, New York City, Queens, and Richmond.
Alliance For Health’s main office is located in Brooklyn at 105 Court Street,
with satellite offices located in the Bronx at 2488 Grand Concourse, and in
Forest Hills Queens at 116-55 Queens Blvd.
Compliance
Alliance For Health is in full compliance with
regulations promulgated by its licensing authority, the New York State
Department of Health, and its contract clients as evidenced by the survey
reports received and on file. Alliance For Health is accredited by the Joint
Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
Between 1982 and present day, Alliance For Health has grown to become a
high-quality, effective, efficient, and responsive organization providing more
than 3.0 million home health aide service hours per year to the patients of its
Certified Home Health Agencies and Long-Term Home Health Care Program clients
under contract with Alliance For Health. In addition, Alliance For Health
provides HHA service directly to its private patients following their
physician’s orders. Alliance For Health does not directly participate in the
Medicare and Medicaid Programs.
Home Health Aide Training Program
Alliance For Health conducts a
New York State Department of Health approved, Certified Home Health Aide
Training Program in English and in Spanish that includes AIDS and Hospice
training. These Programs are offered free of charge at regular monthly
intervals. Alliance For Health maintains a sizeable registry of approximately
2100 active Home Health Aides; the majority are bilingual in Spanish and
English.
Hours of Service / On-Call System
Alliance For Health’s
headquarters (at 105 Court Street) is opened 365 days per year, Monday through
Sunday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., including holidays. Bilingual coordination, management,
and nursing staff are on-site during this timeframe. After normal business
hours, the Coordination and Nursing staffs are available through an established
on-call system.

- Long or short-term service requests are honored on an hourly, daily or
live-in basis.
- Based upon a thorough evaluation and professional assessment conducted by
our Nursing Supervisor, individual care plans are developed and tailored to meet
your specific needs.

- Third Party Insurance
- Insurance companies and/or Workers’ Compensation carriers can be invoiced
directly or indirectly, depending on your individual needs. We will verify
insurance coverage so that you receive the maximum benefit possible. We will
also assist you with the completion of required forms for insurance
reimbursement. Call us to see if your insurance covers our services.
- Private Pay fees are established in advance and billed weekly for services
rendered.
- As an added convenience, we accept all major credit cards.
