Comprehensive Home Care provides professional, compassionate care to
individuals, while maintaining their independence and quality of life in their
home and community settings.
Comprehensive Home Care is a HIPAA compliant licensed home health care
agency and a leading provider of reliable attendant & personal care services since 1983. We are
currently licensed to provide services to residents and facilities in
Westchester, Metropolitan New York, Dutchess, Ulster, Putnam, Orange and
Rockland counties. We are a participating agency in the New York State Medicaid
Program and the New York State Office for Aging's EISEP Programs and are proud
of our strong working relationships with select Hospitals, Long Term Care
Programs, Hospices, and Certified Home Health Care Agencies.

From your initial contact with our experienced and professional office staff, you
will find our commitment to you unsurpassed within the industry. Our
administrative and clinical staff is available at all times to assist with all
phases of planning and implementation of services.
- Based upon a thorough evaluation and professional assessment conducted by
our Nursing Supervisor, individual care plans are developed and tailored to meet
your specific needs.
- Insurance companies and/or Workers’ Compensation carriers can be invoiced
directly or indirectly depending on your individual needs. We will verify
insurance coverage so that you receive the maximum benefit possible. We will
also assist you with the completion of required forms for insurance
reimbursement. Call us to see if your insurance covers our services.
- Private Pay fees are established in advance and billed weekly for services
rendered.
- As an added convenience, we accept all major credit cards.
Comprehensive Home Care offers a variety of health care services:
- Long and Short Term Home Health Care provided by skilled, trained,
dependable, concerned professionals and paraprofessionals who care for you or
your family members on an hourly, daily, or live-in basis. Our paraprofessional
caregivers must meet our stringent standards before they are sent into your
home. Our personnel are insured and carefully screened and evaluated. They must
complete an in-depth hiring process including criminal history record check
before employment.
- Registered Nurses (RN’s) provide total nursing care and coordinate treatment
prescribed by a physician.
- Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s) will administer medication and treatment
prescribed by a physician and assist in day-to-day activities of daily living.
- Home Health Aides (HHA’s)/Personal Care Aides (PCA’s) provide assistance
with personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, aiding in all
activities of daily living. Our staff Nurse Supervisors evaluate care on a
regular basis to assure you of the finest in-home health care.
- Companions/Homemakers provide assistance with personal care, homemaking,
meal preparation, shopping, and errands.
- Supplemental Facility Staffing provided to community based nursing homes and hospitals.
- RN’s, LPN’s and CNA's offer short or long term relief staffing services
provided by knowledgeable and compassionate professionals.

A Attendant & Personal Care Bill Of Rights For Consumers
As a consumer you have the right to:
- Be informed of these rights in writing at the time of admission, as
evidenced by written documentation in the clinical record.
- Be given a statement of the services available by the agency and related
charges.
- Be informed of all treatments prescribed, when and how services will be
provided, and the name and functions of any person and affiliated agency
providing care and services.
- Refuse treatment after being fully informed of and understanding the
consequences of such actions.
- Be informed of the procedures for submitting patient complaints.
- Recommend changes in policies and services to agency staff, the area office
representatives of the department or any outside representative of the patient's
choice, free from restraint, interference, coercion, discrimination or reprisal.
- Be treated with consideration, respect, and full recognition of his/her
dignity and individuality.
- Privacy, including confidential treatment of patient records and refusal of
their release to any individual outside the agency, except in the case of the
patient's transfer to a health care facility or as required by law or third
party payment contract.
