William "BIFF" Comte
Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President
|
Biff Comte joined AccentCare in 2002 as Chairman, CEO &
President. He is a veteran healthcare executive with experience in hospital
management, where he was CEO of for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare
systems. He also has experience in the Workers' Compensation area, where he
was COO of Concentra, a $1 billion company. Prior to that, he founded and was
CEO and President of Premier Practice Management, a physician practice
management company.
Biff holds an MBA from the University of Miami, Florida, a BS Degree in
Business from Villanova University, and is a graduate of the Duke Endowment
program in Hospital Administration.

Vincent Cook
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
|
Vince Cook has extensive finance and management experience in both the public
and private sectors. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of
Comsys an I.T. staffing and solutions company, where he ran the West
Division. Prior to that he served as Chief Financial Officer of Talent Tree,
Inc. a staffing company employing more than 100,000 associates, where he
worked with the management team to establish strategic objectives and to
devise plans to attain those goals. Vince also served as Interim President
of the company following its purchase by two private equity firms.
Previously, Vince was Chief Financial Officer for Futurestep.com, a
subsidiary of Korn/Ferry International based in Los Angeles, and lent his
financial expertise to Houston-based companies Southdown, Inc., Bynum
Insurance, Inc. and WKG Group of Companies.
Vince received a Master's in Professional Accounting from the University of
Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in both business
administration and mathematics from Hastings College. He is also a Certified
Public Accountant.

Joseph Schulman
President, East
|
Joe Schulman brings more than 30 years' experience in organizational
management, strategic planning, staff leadership, and adjustment to market
conditions. As the Executive Vice President and COO of Unlimited Care, Inc.,
a prestigious New York-based $60 million home health care services provider,
he successfully created and implemented strategies to market, and oversaw
and evaluated business operations.
Joe also served a Senior Vice President and Director of Business
Development for U.S. HomeCare Corporation. He developed strategies to
improve sales, implemented the company's Home Mental Health Nursing Program,
oversaw all contracts, designed its managed care strategy, and recruited and
managed the training programs for its employees.
Prior to these positions, Joe worked in various management
capacities for Staff Builders and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
He holds a Masters of Science in Recreation and Parks Administration
from Herbert H. Lehman College and a BS in Education from Long Island
University.

Mel Deutsch
President, Home Health

|
Mel Deutsch has over 25 years of experience as a healthcare executive. Before joining
AccentCare, Mel served as the Senior Vice President and Chief
Operating Officer of a four-hospital system providing acute care and psychiatric services to
primarily Medicare and MediCal Patients in Southern California. Previously Mel was the C.O.O.
of various other healthcare systems, including subsidiary companies of AMI Healthcare (now part
of Tenet Healthcare) and HealthSouth. In each of these positions Mel achieved significant
improvement in business operations and financial performance by strengthening customer
relationships, improving service quality and value, as well as maintaining a sharp focus on
cost management and revenue capture.
Mel earned his Bachelor in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University, his M.B.A. from Florida International University and his J.D. from the Northern Illinois College of Law.

Heidi Steele
Vice President, Human Resources
|
|
Heidi Steele is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources Department
for AccentCare and has more than
15 years of progressively responsible human resources experience. She
has worked in a variety of industries including: healthcare, building
services, real estate development and resort management.
Heidi has been a member of the National Human Resources Association
since 1997 and is Past President of both the Orange County Affiliate and the
National organization after serving on the board for five consecutive years.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a business minor and a
Masters in Business Administration from California State University
Fullerton where she graduated with the highest honors.

Jeffrey A. Hammond
Vice President, Sales

Jeff joined AccentCare in 2004 as Vice President of
Sales. He brings to
AccentCare 13 years of sales and operational
experience in home health care, home medical equipment, and home
infusion.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications and Political
Science from the University of Arizona.

Jeff Franck
Vice President, Operations
|
|
Jeff Franck joined AccentCare in 2005 as Vice President
of HomeCare Operations for California. Jeff is also responsible for the oversight of the Arizona
and Washington markets. Jeff came to AccentCare with 15 years of
operational and management experience in home care, primarily in the home medical equipment field.
Prior to this, Jeff served with Apria Healthcare as an Area Manager, and with HomeTech Medical
Services as a Regional Manager.
