Overall CMS quality star rating shows the health care provider is dedicated to clinical excellence for patients, their families, and the community


DALLAS, April 2, 2024 — AccentCare (“the Company”), a nationwide leader in post-acute care, announced today its overall 4.5-star quality rating released by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Earning this quality rating shows the Company’s commitment to patient-centric care and places AccentCare well above ratings for the majority of the industry.

Current quality ratings reported by CMS not only indicate a rising overall score for AccentCare, but that 20 of our locations hold a 5-star rating, the highest achievable.

CMS rates Medicare-certified home health agencies on a number of processes and outcome quality measures including timely initiation of care and acute care hospitalization. According to’s Home Health Compare, the quality rating for most measured home health agencies fall ‘in the middle’ with a rating of 3 to 3.5 stars.

CMS publishes star ratings to provide information about home health providers as a tool for consumers to make informed decisions about selecting home health care agencies.
