As we continue to monitor the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV), the following procedure will be implemented effective immediately.

Any AccentCare employee (or contractor) who has traveled to areas with reported cases or who believe they have been in contact with an infected person (including, but not limited to, those who have traveled to China), should not report to work for a 2 week (14 days) incubation period following potential exposure or their return home from travel. This 2-week period is for safety of employees and patients to ensure the employee is not showing symptoms of the Coronavirus (prior to returning to work and potentially exposing others to the virus).
• If you are in a job/position that can work from home, please work with HR and your manager to determine if it feasible and to make the appropriate arrangements to work from home.
• If you are in a patient facing role, and thus unable to work from home, you may use PTO or any State accrued sick leave (as applicable) during this time off, if you so choose. Otherwise, this time will be considered unpaid personal leave.
As a reminder, we are committed to you and your well-being. If symptoms of fever, cough and/or shortness of breath appear, go to the emergency room or see a physician for a medical evaluation.

If you have questions, please contact your Manager or HR Business Partner.
