Helpful Resources
Hospice and Palliative Care Healthcare Professionals
Hospice Access
We encourage awareness and respect for diversity in our staff, and we support health equity through outreach and education in traditionally underserved communities.
Hospice Eligibility
We often see eligible patients referred to Accentcare with only days or hours left to live, limiting the full usefulness of the holistic care the hospice interdisciplinary team can provide to them and their families.
Hospice Payment
Medicare covers all costs associated with hospice care, and we work with many private insurers as well.
24/7 Support
Staff at our call center are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including on holidays. It’s important that our patients and families can always get in touch with us right away.
Nutrition Resources
As you or your loved one’s condition changes, AccentCare’s registered dietitians can help answer any of the questions or concerns you may have about nutrition.
Caregiver Burnout
The work of being the primary caregiver for someone who is seriously ill or on hospice can feel like a roller coaster.
Anticipatory Grief
Anticipatory grief is the process of preparing, both cognitively and emotionally, for the loss of your loved one. It is a normal process of reacting to the impending loss.
Grief & Bereavement
AccentCare has a team of people that not only care about your loved one but care about supporting you emotionally and psychologically while you anticipate the decline of your loved one.
