Access in Hospice
At AccentCare Hospice & Palliative Care, we encourage awareness and respect for diversity in our staff as well as among our patients and their families. We do not tolerate stereotyping, prejudice, or any forms of discrimination.
Combatting Disparity in Hospice and Palliative Care
Disparities in the use of hospice and palliative care is a concern that AccentCare is actively working to address. We have an active Cultural Inclusion Council founded in 2017 that is responsible for community outreach and educational training in communities that have been traditionally underserved in end-of-life care. We also provide?regular diversity education and training to all employees. Each of our locations has a community-specific outreach plan, and we are constantly evaluating what AccentCare can do to ensure that every eligible patient, family and community can receive the benefits of hospice care.
